Transform your Smile Dramatically with Cosmetic Dentistry
At Flower Mound Dental, we want your first impression to be perfect! Dr. Wyatt and the staff are here to make sure that happens through a gorgeous, healthy smile. Our affordable dentistry here at Flower Mound Dental serves to craft the smile you desire most and includes the following solutions:
Whitening
Flower Mound Dental offers multiple whitening options for you, and we pride ourselves in providing the best, most affordable treatments available. Whether you want to stop in over lunch or even do the whitening in the comfort of your own home, we have options for you. Dr. Wyatt understands that each patient is unique, so our treatments may vary from person to person. No matter what method you choose for yourself, all of our teeth whitening systems are fast and effective and are sure to create that bright white smile you have been dreaming of.
Not all teeth are created equal, with coloring varying from person to person. Multiple factors contribute to the darkening of your teeth over time—things you might not even expect, like diet, smoking, age, trauma, tooth decay, and medications.
Veneers
Transform your smile using porcelain veneers, which serve as overlays on your natural teeth. If you want to cover up discoloration or have teeth that are chipped or cracked, this is a perfect option to meet your smile goals. At Flower Mound Dental, we can typically provide this treatment in just a few office visits, making it one of many fast and effective solutions for you to choose from.
If you want a full cosmetic improvement to your smile and need repair, then our porcelain veneers could be the perfect option. A veneer is an overlay with a thin layer of fine or decorative material. Not only can Dr. Wyatt and Flower Mound Dental change the color of your teeth with porcelain veneers, but we can also change the shape, length, and even alignment, creating a straighter, more naturally vibrant smile that you are sure to be proud of.
Bonding
If you have chipped, spotted, discolored, or gapped teeth, bonding is a procedure in cosmetic dentistry that might be the proper treatment solution for you. Through our process at Dr. Wyatt Flower Mound Dental, Dr. Wyatt uses modern materials of the same shade, translucency, and texture of your teeth, creating a perfect match. We aim to have an end result where no one can tell if treatment was performed at all.
Imagine what this can do for your self-confidence? With this treatment, smiling will become much more natural with the new and enhanced appearance of your teeth. When you have minor defects in your teeth, bonding is the material of choice we recommend, and the end results are priceless. Call Dr. Wyatt today and see if bonding could be the right option for you!
Crowns
Cracked teeth don’t have to be bothersome or an eyesore any longer. A simple crown can cover the entire damaged tooth with a porcelain case. The first step is to prepare the tooth to receive a crown, which requires the reduction of the tooth so that our lab has enough room to produce a natural look-alike. We then take an impression and select the proper color for the temporary to be custom-created.
Once our lab creates the crown, it’s placed and adjusted to fit your specific needs and liking. Our job is to communicate entirely with the lab anything you want in your new crown so that it fits naturally with your surrounding teeth. This includes the look and feel of the bite as well as the color. Our porcelain crowns could be the perfect fit for you if you have a damaged, cracked, or chipped tooth. Give us a call, and let’s get the conversation started today!
Fillings
Enduring a bad, damaged, or rotten tooth can be painful, but by using best-practice techniques, we will make sure you feel completely at ease during your treatment. Coming to Flower Mound Dental, you can expect Dr. Wyatt to spend quality time with you, assessing your problem and creating a treatment plan to fit your exact needs.
We’re happy to offer a variety of options when it comes to the type of filling that will allow for maximum function and aesthetics. After the decay is removed, the tooth is ready to receive its filling, whether gold, silver, or porcelain. That choice is entirely up to you on what you feel will better benefit you. We believe we are a destination where people come for restoration and to maintain good health. Our number one goal while you’re here is to make you comfortable and provide you with a quality dental experience. Don’t let a bad tooth continue to give you fits. Give us a call and let’s get your oral hygiene back on track!
Inlays & Onlays
When you hear cosmetic dentistry, you often think about the teeth you can see upfront. Don’t forget about the back teeth, which can also require restoration and repair. Back molars have what are called cusps, which are the pointed, or rounded projections coming out of the tooth. Cusps are important for chewing. Typically, a molar has four cusps, and bicuspids, or premolars, have two. When these cusps get chipped or damaged, we can use crowns, or also what we call inlays or onlays, to restore the tooth to full functionality.
A crown is normally used when there is severe damage to the cusps. The crown covers up the entire tooth. However, if only part of the cusps are fractured or broken, we can do an onlay. The onlay serves to cover up one or more of the damaged cusps while retaining some of the tooth above the gum line. Alternatively, when the cusps of the tooth are all healthy and structurally sound, we can restore the surrounding structure of the tooth but leave the cusps intact by performing an inlay.
Both inlays and onlays are made of porcelain and help restore your teeth’s functionality in a comfortable, durable, and effective way. Give us a call so we can find which one of our dental solutions will work best for you.

Everything You Need to Know About Cosmetic Dentistry
What does cosmetic dentistry entail?
Cosmetic dentistry enhances the appearance of your teeth and gums. Cosmetic dentistry isn’t one treatment. It comprises several procedures customized to your unique needs.Â
- Teeth whitening: Erase tobacco or coffee stains with one of the easiest, most affordable treatments: professional teeth whitening.  Â
- Dental veneers: These thin, customized porcelain laminates are perfect for a natural-looking smile makeover. Veneers are excellent for chipped, gapped, discoloured, or otherwise flawed teeth.Â
- Dental bonding: Sometimes, minor changes can make a significant difference. Dental bonding disguises minor imperfections, such as chips, gaps, and stains, with a tooth-colored material (composite bonding).Â
- Clear braces: Address crowded, misaligned, or gapped teeth with removable, nearly invisible aligners.
Who needs cosmetic dentistry?
Many of us aren’t lucky enough to be born with a naturally perfect smile. Even then, perfect smiles can fall victim to neglect, accidents, and wear. The good news is that cosmetic dentistry can help you rediscover your beautiful smile.Â
See a cosmetic dentist today to address any of these common aesthetic issues:
- Misaligned or crowded teeth
- Discolored or stained teeth
- Unwanted spaces between teeth
- Oddly shaped or sized teeth
- Chipped or cracked teeth
- Old, worn-out restorations
- Missing teeth
Aesthetic issues in your smile shouldn’t stop you from feeling confident. Visit a cosmetic dentist near you and reclaim your beautiful smile.Â
What is the cost of cosmetic dentistry?
Many people avoid cosmetic dentistry because of the costs. However, you’ll be pleased to discover that cosmetic dentistry is more affordable than you think. The cost of your treatment varies depending on the treatment and your specific goals. Simple procedures like teeth whitening and bonding may cost a few hundred dollars, but veneers and crowns cost more. A consultation with your dentist will help determine an accurate estimate based on your needs.
Does insurance cover cosmetic dentistry?
Most cosmetic treatments are considered elective and are not typically covered by dental insurance. However, some procedures that also restore function, such as crowns, may be partially covered. It’s best to check with your insurance provider and dental office for details.
A beautiful smile shouldn’t be out of reach. Our office is excited to offer third-party financing, allowing you to break costs into manageable installments. Talk to our office and learn more about our payment options.Â
Is cosmetic dentistry worth it?
Cosmetic dentistry does more than improve aesthetics—it redefines your joy and confidence. Even simple procedures like teeth whitening help you feel like yourself again. With a beautiful, naturally refreshed smile, you can smile, speak, and laugh without holding back.Â
How long do cosmetic dental results last?
The longevity of your results depends on the treatment and your oral hygiene habits. With proper care, veneers, crowns, and bonding can last 10–15 years or more, while touch-ups can maintain whitening results.
Can cosmetic dentistry enhance my oral health?
Yes, cosmetic dentistry does more than improve the aesthetics of your smile. It can also improve your oral health. Veneers can strengthen your smile, while straightening your teeth simplifies oral hygiene.
Does cosmetic dentistry hurt?
We prioritize your comfort regardless of your procedure. Where applicable, we use local anesthesia or sedation dentistry to ensure a relaxed, pain-free experience.
