May
Over the weekend, we were asked, by one of our most trusted patients, if Dr. Wyatt was going to pass along a COVID Safety Charge from our practice, Flower Mound Dental. Below is Our Promise to You.
I am not surprised that this is a topic of interest. I’ve put great thought into this topic over the last weeks while we’ve been closed. This is a time in which we find many businesses operating at a loss, and unfortunately, I find my dental practice to be one of those businesses. However, I feel there are times you have to pay out of your own pocket to get a job done. Looking at the big picture, I feel that my relationship with my patients is just as important as getting paid. These new expenses are simply going to be some of the essential operating costs of providing the best care possible.
On Reflection
Our Promise to You. On reflection, I find that I am lucky and grateful because I have maintained lasting relationships far beyond that of the majority of dentists. I have patients who’ve been coming to me for almost 35 years now. For the future of my practice, it’s important to maintain those loyal patient relationships and grow new ones with new people. Consequently, I am choosing to NOT make my patients pay a separate fee to cover every day PPE; nor all of the behind the scenes protocols, procedures, and equipment patients will rarely, if ever, see.
In return, I ask that you, my loyal patients, share my practice and my mission as a dentist, with your kind online reviews and with as many friends and neighbors as you see fit. I am choosing to put your health and the health of my team above all else.
